Widex New Zealand sponsors Audiology Masters Students | Widex Hearing Aids, an International company responsible for numerous innovative and exciting technological breakthroughs continue to support the Masters of Audiology Students at University of Auckland by providing them with the textbooks necessary to optimize their studies. “It is common knowledge that textbooks are becoming an increasingly expensive (but critical) addition to the study costs of the average student, hence our decision to sponsor them for several years now” says Daniel Goldwater, Business Manager - Widex NZ.
On Wednesday 27 April Widex NZ held their annual book presentation at which they took the liberty of sponsoring twenty-four University of Auckland, Master of Audiology (MAUD) students, with their major textbooks. The evening was well attended by key staff members and students alike. Numerous speeches and a gratefully received book presentation were followed by a very enjoyable and relaxed evening.

Widex believe that the best tool to equip students and professionals with is education, to further optimize their performance in the field. They frequently run educational and training workshops throughout NZ to further complement these efforts.
“To date we have received an exceptional response to our educational efforts and will continue with our sponsorship into the future – it is a pleasure to see such gratitude for knowledge” comments Megan Walters, Company Audiologist - Widex NZ. | |
